young heart.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket wearing: Skirt - Forever 21, Tank - Market HQ, Bag - Mimco, Boots - Soles, watch - Daniel Wellington & Necklace - Vintage.

Luke brought this skirt back for me from the US. I've been waiting to grunge it up somehow and this low side tank from MHQ was the answer. So finally I've paired it with this perfect staple piece and my trusty boots.

I only have one uni exam standing between me and summer so I can't wait to start planning some new adventures for the end of the year and the start of the next! Can you believe it's almost November? Wooow.

p.s. Meet Luke's cat. It likes me but it has a dogs name (Otis) so I always keep an eye on it, in case it's plotting to kill me

Wednesday Addams

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket wearing: Dress - Shilla, Heels - Wild Doll, Belt - Vintage, Owl brooch - Lovisa and DIY collar.

For the last couple of weeks I have been torn over Halloween costumes. It was either an old school Madonna, Katy Perry รก la California Girls or Wednesday. After re-watching The Addams Family on Friday I was convinced! Hence, you see the result. Last night I stepped out with a bunch of friends as the  never-smiling, dark and satanic, Wednesday Addams.

I thought the studded heals were very much suited to the role! I made the collar by cutting it off an old shirt instead of having to deal with wearing a shirt underneath my sweet, LBD. I added a tiny owl to finish the spooky look! Below are a few snaps from the night (instagram @emmalucey).

Love to hear about your Halloween costumes!

PhotobucketPhotobucket PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket wearing: Skirt - Market HQ, necklace - vintage, cardigan - Bali, Top - Cotton On, DIY ring, watch - Daniel Wellington and bag - Mimco.

I wore this outfit to have tea and scones with my friend to break up our endless days of studying.
You can't really tell in these photos but this skirt has some wicked pleat action going on. It's very 90s, so of course I adore it!

I had to include a photo of the sweet flowers blossoming outside my house. Spring makes me so happy!
I have some new eBay items online this week! All really cheap and brand new (HERE).

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket wearing: top - Somedays Lovin from Market HQ, Shorts - Shilla, Knit - Lola vs Harper, Shoes - Rubi, Necklace - op-shopped, sunnies - MHQ and bag - general pants.

Whenever Summer starts creeping up I can't help but imagine myself sitting in the sun, drinking cider and wearing the clothes that I've been coveting. This top speaks major summer vibes to me, so I just had to have it! Lace up back and white on tanned skin will be perfection for summer days.

I wore this outfit to a little backyard party but unfortunately still need to take my knit along for when the sun goes down. Before too long, summer will be knocking on our doors!

Hope everyone had amazing weekends!

Wolf and Spike

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket wearing: Tee - Someday Lovin, shorts - Lola vs Harper, Shoes - WILD DOLL, Socks - Rubi, Backpack - vintage, sunnies - MHQ and vintage necklace.

I wore this outfit to uni this week minus the heels which I had to put on as soon as they arrived on my doorstep! You guys will know by now that I am a boot girl through and through. Throw in a platform and spikes and I'm sold-diddly-old.

Today was so so lovely and warm that I spent pretty much the whole day re-reading my way through The Hobbit in the sunshine. Then, obviously, had afternoon tea and cheese to finish it off. Yum!!!

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket wearing: Shorts - Bec & Bridge from Style Milk, Jumper from Cupcake Fashion, Watch - Daniel Wellington, boots - Soles and vintage bag.

Luke took me for lunch by the marina and we sat by the river. I had potato pancakes with tomato salsa.
I'm a little addicted to lace designs right now so I couldn't resist these sweet shorts.

Tonight I'm off to the Sydney Noodle Night Markets with some friends.  I'll be on the lookout for dumplings and noodles galore! My instagram account is @emmalucey if you want to see updates.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket wearing: Dress - Show Pony and everything else is vintage!

My daisy necklace is another of my favourite vintage pieces.
In the next few weeks I am looking forward to doing very little, apart from sitting in the sunshine and the odd study session here and there before uni ends for the year.

As I said in my last post I have a giveaway coming on the Spin Dizzy Fall Facebook page so you can find it here.
Hope everyone had great weekends! I spent today watching old episodes of Friends and sitting in the afternoon sun eating ice cream. Lovely.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket wearing: The Dress, Vintage jacket, House of Harlow necklace, Rubi shoes, vintage bag and sunnies.

It's the very last day of my challenge.
I have officially worn this same dress in 5 ways in 5 days! I hope you've all taken a fancy to at least one style each!

Today I went for a 'Almost-Famous' kind of look with one of my favourite vintage pieces, my full crochet jacket. Even though it was majorly windy today, I squeezed in a video as well! As I say in my video, thank you all for the support this week and love on my posts. You're the greatest and you make trying something new so worth it! So I've decided to run a giveaway next week on my Facebook page to say thank you!

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket wearing: The Dress, Shirt - Cotton On, Jacket - Lola vs Harper, necklace - eBay, bag - vintage and shoes - Rubi.

I couldn't post Day 4 earlier tonight because I attended the 1st Birthday party for The Iconic! I can't believe it's been so long since I attended the Blogger Breakfast launch this time last year.  Tonight's event was held at the Water Bar in Sydney so Luke and Myself arrived just in time to grab a few dumplings, cocktails and some Guy Sebastian. Check out my photos from the night on my instagram @emmalucey.

You can probably tell by the bags under my eyes in these photos that I was up late last night doing an assignment for uni, so I think it's about my bedtime! Last day of 1D5W5D tomorrow...eek! Exciting. xx

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketwearing: The Dress, Shirt - General Pants, necklace - eBay, Belt - Market HQ, Bag - Eloiise, Shoes - Tony Bianco and Shades - AM.

Day 3 is here! We are half way through the week and today is normally a work day. So this shirt, which is found in the mens section, was added to create a more casual, breezy look. A punch of gold accessories plus a big bag to carry everything for the day.

Unfortunately no Youtube video today as these photos were snapped quick before work but more to come!

In the next couple weeks I'll be uploading some of my wardrobe to eBay so keep an eye out and check out Spin Dizzy Fall on eBay HERE.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket wearing: The Dress, vintage Mickey sweater, belt - cotton on, Laptop case - rubi, sunnies - AM Eyewear and Soles boots.

Every Tuesday is a uni day for me so I decided on a comfy option to wear to my classes.
Mickey ALWAYS makes a comeback in fashion trends, even this season he's been spotted on the runway. So a good tip is to hold on to anything Disney (as if you wouldn't anyway)!

I added a belt to give myself a bit of a waist and my laptop is an essential for classes, of course, so I have my black laptop case which goes with any outfit.

Day 3 coming tomorrow! They get more and more exciting each day.
